Daily Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrive at the Lodge from 3pm in time for tea and freshly baked cake. Store your bikes, settle into your rooms and take a gentle warm-up ride around the grounds.

Enjoy a light dinner* at the Lodge prepared with fresh local produce.

DAY 2

Start your day with a visit to our unique Georgian cold bath for an early morning plunge.

After a delicious breakfast, embark on our signature Nine Castles route, taking in 9 castles in one day. Your route includes historic sites such as Ludlow Castle, Richard's Castle, and Croft Castle, with opportunities to explore the surrounding villages and countryside.

Return to the Lodge for afternoon tea and cake.

Complimentary two course dinner in the dining room. Pre-dinner cocktails* and canapes* available. Wine* can be served with dinner.

Full cycling time approximately 5-6 hours (40-90km routes available).

DAY 3

Start your day with a gentle yoga session*.

After breakfast, enjoy a shorter route through Mortimer's Forest and the surrounding countryside.

Packed lunches provided for your journey. Alternative option of a buffet picnic lunch* at a scenic location.

Return to the Lodge for a final afternoon tea before departure.

Morning ride approximately 2-3 hours.

Cycling Fitness Legend

Grade 1
Gentle terrain, cycling on good level paths, with a few short, usually gentle, ascents and/or descents.
Grade 2
Cycling along well-established paths and tracks. Occasional loose surfaces, and open meadows. Ascents and/or descents up to 1 hour.
Grade 3
Cycling along a variety of paths, some stony/slippy in places, with ascents and/or descents of 1-2 hours.
Grade 4
Cycling along a variety of paths occasionally challenging, with ascents and/or descents of 2-3 hours.
Grade 5
Challenging cycling with a variety of terrain, some long days, and/or long ascents and/or descents.
