Guests have exclusive access to the reception rooms of this historic Grade II* listed house, allowing you to relax, unwind with your friends, and make The Lodge your own.
Upstairs at The Lodge, there are four beautiful, large double guest bedrooms and three bathrooms (two are ensuite). The bedrooms are presented in keeping with the age and period of the house; they are not newly renovated, and there are no televisions or high-tech gadgetry. Currently, all the bathrooms have baths, not showers.
Downstairs, the stunning wood-panelled morning room, where family portraits hang on the walls, is available for you to enjoy afternoon tea or a pre-dinner cocktail.
Guests have exclusive use of the dining room, where breakfast will be served each morning. This includes fresh fruits, homemade granola, and a cooked breakfast with delicious local sausages, bacon, and our own free-range eggs.
Dinner in the dining room is a special experience. We would love to invite you and your guests to enjoy a memorable dinner during your stay. We will tailor a menu focusing, where possible, on produce from the farm and incorporating vegetables and fruit from the vegetable garden. Vegetarian options are also available, and we aim to accommodate any dietary needs.
We can also provide you and your guests with a light supper to suit your requirements or can happily recommend and reserve restaurants in Ludlow.
The grounds at The Lodge, accessible during your stay, are a haven in themselves with beautiful gardens, a tennis court, and, for those brave enough, the treat of cold water swimming with a plunge in the unique Georgian cold bath set within the picturesque landscape.
By arrangement, outdoor accommodation can be provided for dogs. Unfortunately, no dogs (other than service dogs) are allowed inside the house.
